The last 48 hours in Israel have been incredibly turbulent and painful to watch. Following weeks of escalating protests over the governing coalition’s proposed reforms to the judiciary, Prime Minister Netanyahu announced a pause to the legislation Monday.

On Friday March 31 at noon, we will be in discussion with Baltimore Shinshin Yali Shapira who will help us unpack all that has been happening in recent days and what might lie ahead.

Yali comes from Ganei Hadar, a small moshav near Rehovot. He has always been passionate about politics and has recently become extraordinarily concerned, as many Israeli citizens, about the current social crisis in Israel.
